LHCAA Titan's Soccer Program

Titans Soccer is composed entirely of volunteers.
Parent participation is an important factor in the success of this program.
Titans Soccer gives its athletes an opportunity to develop self-control, celebrate victory, and learn how to deal with loss, time limits, and opponents in a Christian manner.
Titans Soccer is a co-ed soccer league that is coached in an academy style and places children in teams according to their age.
We strive to provide our athletes a competitive yet fun atmosphere while promoting Christian values.

Eligibility

Registration and Fees

Practices and Games

Practice times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30. Younger players may finish earlier.
Players will practice together according to their age group.
Age groups are as follows: 4&5 years old, 6&7 years old, 8&9 years old, 10-12 years old, 13 years and up.
Children will play games on teams according to their age group.
Games are scheduled on Saturday from 1:00-5:00. Arrive 30 minutes early for warm-up and find your team before each game.
Practices and games will be played at Calvary Baptist Church 84th and Albany.

Uniforms / Jerseys

What will your player need?

Shin guards are mandatory for all practices and games.
Long socks that cover the shin guards (any color is fine)
Soccer cleats are recommended but not mandatory. No open toe shoes.
Soccer ball (size 3 for ages 3-7, size 4 for ages 8-11, and size 5 for ages 12 and up), water, and sunscreen
Label all balls and water bottles with first and last name.
Remember Texas weather: It can be hot, sunny, windy, cold, and wet all in the same day. Have players dress appropriately.

What will parents need?

Safety

Parents may not leave children at the field without an agreement with another parent (non-coach) to be responsible for them.
Parents need to stay in the field area and not it the car in the parking lot.
If players are of driving age and will be driving themselves to practices/games, please let Chrystal Gerron or Jessie Head know.
Children are not allowed to climb on the fence, hang on the goals, or play with nets. Goals and nets are expensive.
Do not climb the trees.
No one is allowed on the playground at any time.
You may park in any of the parking lots or on the street.
We will fill out and sign an incident report for each injury or behavior incident that will require a signature of acknowledgement from both parent and LHCAA admin.

Coaches

All of LHCAA Titans Soccer coaches are volunteers.
All of our coaches undergo a background check.
All parents and players are expected to show respect to coaches.
Once the teams are set (after the season begins) your player’s coach will contact you. Let the coach know in writing (email or text) any games or practices your player will miss.
Coaches will have sign-up sheets for after game snacks.
